I truly believe that figure skating is a combination of strength, artistry, musicality, and a positive attitude. I seek to instill self-motivation, injury prevention, and hard work in each of my students, while allowing them to be playful and artistically creative. Ideally, I like to work with the students on and off the ice to build strength and correct alignment so they can fully enjoy their time on the ice!
Levels/Ages Coached: Beginner – Figure skating: first steps through competitive. Ages 2 – 65. Hockey first steps through advanced power skating. (Kurt doesn’t do stick and puck)

BS in Biology with Minor in Psychology from Clarkson University. Also, I team teach with my wife who specializes figure skating competitive figure skating choreography and spins.”
